Frequently asked questions

Is every shuffle actually solvable?

Yes. Slydr generates puzzles using a guaranteed-solvable algorithm — you'll never be stuck with an impossible board.

How do I use my own photo?

Tap the Photo button, pick an image from your library, and use pinch-to-zoom in the cropper to frame it. The first time you do this iOS will ask permission to access your photos.

Why does Slydr need photo library access?

Only so you can pick an image to use as the puzzle. Photos stay on your device — Slydr never uploads, shares, or stores them anywhere.

How do mutators work?

Open the Mutators sheet and toggle any combination of Fog of War, Ice Tiles, Locked Tiles, and Mirror Mode. They stack — turn them all on if you're feeling brave.

Can I turn off sound, haptics, or particles?

Yes. Open Settings from the main menu and toggle each effect independently.

Does Slydr work on iPad?

Yes. Slydr is a universal app and supports both iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later, in portrait and landscape.

Is there an Android version?

Not at the moment. Slydr is iOS-only for now.
